WEEK 02: Character & rigging
I looked up some references, and I wanted my astronaut character to wear thinner clothes and not carry a lot of equipment on his back so that I could design the movements better in the post.
And I designed the astronaut to wear white because it makes a strong contrast with the dark background and has a better visual effect

I bought a character online that met my requirements and started completing the rigging. I will recreate the maps as the astronaut is wearing yellow, so I removed the textures.
I chose to use Advanced skeleton for joint and controller and Ngskintool for skin weights.
However, I found the problem that the model is a high poly model, which may get stuck when animating, so I need to make a low poly model and rigging again.This has taken me a long time.
And there’s a new problem, after rigging I noticed that the UV is missing so I may have to redo it ……… It’s really annoying, I hate these bugs
